You're already a confident and capable procurement professional. Now you're looking to build on your skills and experience in a more strategic and challenging role. With the complete restructure of our Group Procurement function, we have just the opportunity for you.

About the role
Working within a defined budget, you'll be the crucial link between internal stakeholders and suppliers. From preparing proposals to drafting and managing contracts, identify potential savings and ensure all SLAs are met. At the same time, you'll liaise with internal clients to support the development of category plans that meet targets and achieve bottom-line savings.. You'll be working closely with your procurement colleagues to proactively support the transformation of the department. You'll also manage all elements of category planning, reviewing supply base, consolidation of spend, market analysis and of course delivering against plan.

About you
This is an exciting opportunity for a category management expert with an impressive track record of savings delivery. Not only will you get the chance to strengthen your supplier management and problem solving skills. Working with stakeholders at all levels, you'll have a real impact on driving change across the organisation. Which is why first-class negotiation and communication skills will be critical to your success. There's no doubting your ambition - what will also make you stand out are first-class negotiation and communication skills plus your proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders.

Ideally you'll have a formal qualification in procurement and contracts management and an understanding of project management.

You'll also have knowledge of Marketing such media buying and market research agencies or knowledge in the world of financial business operations, used to working in with areas such as mortgages, savings or banking.
