The role of Relationship Manager will require you to be accountable for the performance and commercial management of up to 15 of our suppliers, ensuring contracts are negotiated and executed, with appropriate SLA's. You will also be required to deliver negotiated cost prices, driving benefit to the organisation through primary and secondary sources. This will involve the management of virtual teams to ensure suppliers are performance managed effectively, supplier ratings are produced and any issues are dealt with, within the agreed SLA's. To apply you will need demonstrable experience gained in either a purchasing, sales, account management or similar commercially orientated role, allied with exposure to and a solid understanding of the fmcg or mobile telecomms industry. Analytical skills and evidence of converting opportunities into business benefits are also essential, as are proven negotiation skills with third parties, allied with very strong relationship management skills, where the focus is on building long term partnerships with a win-win outcome. Our headquarters are based north of Newbury and easily accessible from the M3 or M4 (less than 5 minutes from Junction 13 of the M4 and approximately 25 minutes from Junction 10 of the M4).
