It's the perfect way to launch a long-term Procurement career.

About the role
Our Procurement department is 40 people strong. That means you'll be surrounded by experts who'll help you develop into a skilled Procurement professional. Joining an IT Category team of nine, you'll be managing contracts with some of the world's biggest technology firms and you'll be supporting some of our key technology needs. You'll be keeping a close eye on everything from the basic logistics to supplier payments, and from making sure suppliers fulfil their contractual obligations to troubleshooting any problems we or they might have. And that means working closely with key internal contacts, including our IT and Change Management departments.

About you
A basic level of Procurement knowledge and experience will be required but you'll be able to pick up the specific technical aspects of the role. Just as important is a practical background - you could well be working in a senior admin role for instance - and experience of managing commercial relationships. Meticulous with detail and highly motivated, you'll be someone who thinks clearly, enjoys pressure and always delivers. If you either have a CIPS qualification or are working towards one then that would be desirable. It would also be good if you knew how to put together a contract and were aware of the key elements of contracting.
